E-CLUB PROGRAM

PRESIDING TODAY IS: Jeffrey Tinnell, Vice President

bellDing! We’re now in session.

Welcome all – Visitors, fellow Rotarians and guests alike to this E-Club program!

Remember the smiling pot. Donations to our E-Club help support our service projects.

We’d like to respectfully remind all visitors that if they would like to contribute the normal cost of a meal for your makeup, we would be grateful. These funds go directly to our many and varied service projects around the world. You can make a contribution in the Donation box on the homepage. Or you can write a check to:  Rotary E-Club of District 7530 and mail it to Treasurer MSRE, 115 Hoffman Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Four-Way Test

At the beginning of each meeting we remind ourselves of the The Four-Way Test.  Therefore, please remember to ask yourself always . . .

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

A Reflective Moment

Program:  The Impact of Strong Leadership

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of people in all facets of life. Because of my career path, I have travelled quite a bit, could look behind the curtain of the hype in the entertainment world, both literally and figuratively, …  someday I can bore you with a Sigfried and Roy story, and met some very interesting people along the way. Interesting being the operative word. The folks who tend to stand out for me are those that impact the lives of others. It is often their strong leadership qualities which enable them to do so. CAL U of PA head football coach Gary Dunn is one of those people.

This past fall, my company produced a short film highlighting a day in the life of college football players. The piece gained some national recognition, energized the fan base for the Division II football power and served to shine a positive light onto the CAL U football program in general. For me, I came away feeling inspired by the impact one person can make on the lives of many. Coach Gary Dunn is one who makes his players better people and leads by example. I hope you enjoy the film.

Thank you for participating in this program!
